No explanation needed...

It's almost May, and it feels like winter.

Everyone seemed to enjoy a bit

of time outside. If this project is ever finished, I plan to spend a lot of time with Thing #1 and Thing #2 outside.

The girls had a good time.

We took a break from kitchen madness the other day to enjoy the flowering cherry blossom tree in our yard. This was a much needed break!

Progress is being made. Only a lifetime to go before this is done.

The construction of a kitchen island. More madness...

Thing #1 helping me make a template for drawer and cabinet door handles.

I am learning that a "little" kitchen remode

ling project can turn into complete madness. We are eve relying on child labor to get it done. Note: Thing #1 is helping with construction.

Thing #1 had a birthday and turned four. Note: Thing #1 is wearing an apron. This is not coincidence.

Sister Thing and Thing #1 making a snow angel. This what thnigs do.

We had a snow storm in late March. Things helped me shovel the driveway. This is Wife Thing.

Thing #1.

Thing #2 was crying in the crib. Thing #1 got in the crib to play with Thing #2. Things got out of hand.

This is pulsing Xenia. Thing #1 loves to watch its little hand-like tentacles open and close when the lights go out.

This is Thing #2 watching Nemo while I was working out. Thing #2 put the dvd remote in this tank, and it still works. Oh yeah!

Wow, it has been a while since I have updated this. My kitchen controls me. This is Thing #1 wearing my workout gloves.
